REEPHAM LIONS CLUB

Norfolk Day Celebrated with Family Fun

Norfolk Day was celebrated in Reepham on Saturday 29 July.  Reepham Lions and the Bircham Centre presented family fun and games in the Bircham Centre Garden.  The Lions laid on a range of children’s games, all free of charge, including find the treasure on Treasure Island, feeding the animals at the Bircham Zoo, Lucky Buckets and the ever-popular Mad Marble game.  There was also a “crafty corner” where children could enjoy a range of crafts, plus bubbles and balloon models provided by local entertainer, Graham Andrew of Funforce.

Visitors to the garden could also buy refreshments, with cakes and savouries baked by members of the Lions.

Many families commented how wonderful it was that no charge was being made for the activities although many were then happy to buy raffle tickets to support the Lions’ fundraising.
