Lions Visit Red Rose Girls Football Team – March Update

Reepham Lions and Red Rose Football Team
Barry and Liz Howes with the Red Rose team and their lead coach, Paul Willmott.

Reepham Lions’ President Barry Howes and Club Service Group member Liz Howes took time out to visit one of the good causes supported by the Club last year.  Cawston’s Red Rose Girls Football Team received a grant from Reepham Lions last spring to enable them to purchase new kit, including shirts branded with the Reepham Lions name.

Fundraising by Reepham Lions continues with regular fundraising via the Broadland Community at Heart Lottery – https://www.communityatheartlottery.com/support/reepham-lions.  Thank you to everyone who has bought tickets:  we had a further two £25 winners recently.  We are also grateful to everyone who has popped their change into our fundraising buckets at the Reepham Co-Op and the Farm Shop/Deli.

We are also continuing with our collection of spectacles which are sent to those in need all around the world via Lions International, along with a collection of designer spectacle cases which are sold to raise funds in a Lions International campaign.

Reepham Lions have begun to plan fundraising and community events for the remainder of 2022.  Already in the diary are a tombola at the Reepham Food Festival on Sunday, 29 May as well as helping with Reepham’s planned Platinum Jubilee celebrations on the weekend at the beginning of June.  We look forward to seeing you there…
