Reepham Lions have donated a new bench for the Bircham Centre Walled Garden. The bench is in memory of the late John Vertigan, who was a member of the club. The plaque on the bench reads “In Loving Memory of John Vertigan Who Loved to Mardle” and was presented to the Bircham Centre and Mr Vertigan’s widow, Liz, by fellow members of the Lions club. John is remembered fondly by club members who always appreciated his sense of fun and enjoyment of club events.
